Congratulations to the Top 5 Editors of South Cotabato Google Map Makers

Hello World!

Recently, I created a Facebook group South Cotabato Google Map Makers after attending the Google Map Maker Mindanao summit sponsored by the Department of Tourism, Google, Smart, and organized by the Socsksargen Bloggers.

Here is the aim of the group:

"Our mission is to help local tourism and to aid in disaster preparedness by mapping up South Cotabato."

If you are interested you can join us at our Facebook Group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/southcotmapups/

And please read some tips:

And to get started, visit:

By mapping the places in South Cotabato, the tourists will know more where to go during their visit. They will have a good list of restaurants, hotels, resorts and more.  Thus, by this aim, we also hope to boost the local economy.

This contribution may not be a significant one, but its the thing we can do and we believe, with the advent of Internet people will prefer a virtual and dynamic map when going to foreign places.  People also reads reviews regarding the place.

This are the initiative of ours and we invited other people to join.  To join is free and we cannot give compensations to those volunteers who helped mapping up places in South Cotabato.

So, as recognition, I am awarding those people who made a free but priceless contribution in making our home known to the world - through the Google Maps!

These are the Top 5 Editors of South Cotabato Google Map Makers declared last April 27, 2012.

Their e-certificates are follows:

I would also like to thank Gelo Villanueva for the logo and Berniemack Arellano for helping us by reviewing the places we edited.

Please pray for the continuance of this initiative. South Cotabato is big place, and there are still towns not mapped properly.

P.S.

Please also pray for sponsors :-)

Have a Good Day everyone!
