The Bakngeb River Cave is one of the new top tourist destinations in Region XII. So it’s not a surprise why the Social Channel SOX TV will feature it in their upcoming episodes. The Bakngeb River Cave was recently opened to the public last January 2016 and thousands of local and foreign tourists visited the spot.

For the Bakngeb River Cave adventure, I will link the SOX TV video soon. I will be sharing today some of the shots I take during our cultural visit in the area.
Going to Bakngeb River Cave is not a hassle. Specially when it’s not rainy season. The place is accessible from the Tourism Office of T’boli. Before going to Bakngeb River Cave you must go first to T’boli Tourism Office so they can get your info. Habal-habal drivers are stationed there and they are registered with T’boli Tourism Office.
The cost as of today for Habal-habal is Php 210.00 per ride good for two passengers. So it’s Php 420.00 roundtrip. If you are a tourist and you are coming from Koronadal City the usual fare for van is Php 60.00. You can tell the driver to drop you to Tourism Office.
The entrance fee at the Bakngeb River cave is only Php 10.00. However, according to Tourism Office of T’boli they will increase it to Php 50.00 in November 2016. Not bad for helping the economy.
They will welcome you at Gonu Bong or the Receiving Center after registration. There they will show you some T’boli Dances and brief history. Please do take pictures and share it. This will help in spreading the rich and colorful history of the T’bolis.
